Now, don't anyone take this to mean that I'm homophobic. It's an internet thing, it doesn't have anything to do with gay people.
That being said, this took forever.
----
Okay, I'm really glad that people like my emotes, but it's kind of saddening when you devote a lot of your time to your more serious attempts at art and every time you get a favorite and check it, it's on one of your jokes. I am definitely not ungrateful that you guys are favoriting these, but please, if you come across this, take a look at my gallery and see if you like any of my other deviations. Thanks.
Not meaning to say anything bad, and I'm not saying you're homophobic, but this offends me.
The fact you used the rainbow colors, something that almost all people know is a representation of the gay community, and made them into a symbolic gesture that someone is being an idiot is completely not right. It's be like someone taking the American flag [or any kind of thing in which you take pride in] and making it into something saying it's supposed to mean when someone is being an idiot.
And I honestly mean this in the most courteous way I possibly can.

I don't know if you know this or not - but I am not the original creator of the "faggotry" meme - but it honestly is a joke, and there's no ill-will toward LGBT people in this, truly. I'm sorry you're offended, but you don't really understand what this is about... and I wouldn't take offense to an American flag being use if it had evolved into a completely different joke, either.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
